Mosborough RUFC

It was a cold and windy day at Wortley but we had 10 boys eager and ready to play.

Wortley only had 7 players, we learnt them one to have 8v8 with a rolling sub for Moss.  Connor started for Wortley.

From the start Moss applied pressure on Wortley Hanlo made a fantastic run which set up Ben for the first try of the game.

Wortley came back at Moss with a great try to even the game.

Moss responded well a great run from Ben set up Dylan who ran in Moss’s 2nd try.

Strong defensive work from Moss with Foxy tackling like a machine led to first scrum of the match, Wortley foot in. Turn over ball from Moss Lewis ran the length of the pitch to score Moss’s 3rd try.

Great tackle from Chas following restart getting turnover ball, great attacking and passing from the Moss team, leading Ethan to score Moss’s 4th try.

Moss defended well making it impossible for Wortley to get close to the try line. A great sequence of passing left Dylan with the ball who had a great run to score Moss’s 5th try.

HT 5-1 Ben swapped with Connor to play 2nd half for Wortley.

A great start to the second half with Chas running in a great try to put Moss 6-1 up.

Some fancy feet and another great run from Chas saw Moss almost get over the try line again, turn over ball. Wortley start to put Moss under pressure, fantastic rip of the ball by Clayton got Moss the ball, knock on by Moss Wortley scrum.

Ben got hold of the ball ran in a try for Wortley. 6-2.

Great response from Moss good run from Hanlo followed by a great to pass to Ethan who scored Moss’s 7th try.

Ben gets his hands on the ball and scores a 3rd try for Wortley.

Moss restart, Lewis gets the ball and makes a great run to get Moss’s 8th try.

No let up in Moss’s attacking great passing from the team lead to Ethan getting another fantastic try 9-3 to Moss.

Wortley fight back with a good attack but can’t get through a strong Moss defence, great tackling, Turnover ball.
Another great display of passing from Moss fantastic run with the ball from Clayton lead to Connor running in yet another try for Moss.
