Mosborough ceded the kick off to Dronfield as a sign of our sportsmanship and fair play.

Mosborough started off strongly, turning over the ball. It was recovered by Henry and taken in for a try making it 1-0 to Mosborough. However, Dronfield then cam back strongly and scored themselves a hard earned try to level the game. Some excellent wing play from Mosborough then led to a second try, this time scored by Connor.

Dronfield then mounted a determined attack but the Mosborough defence held firm and were finally able to push Dronfield out of play. On the re-start, Mosborough again managed to turn over the ball and a fabulous pass from Henry sent Eli straight through as he raced forward to score another try for Mosborough. However, Dronfield were far from beaten and responded in quick fashion, scoring a try in reply soon after. The half ended on a high for Mosborough as another fantastic run from Conor resulted in another try. The score at half time was 4-2 to Mosborough.

As the second half kicked off, Mosborough again started strongly, as a fantastic side step from Connor leaves the last Dronfield defender floundering as he scores his third and Mosborough's fifth try of the game. Luke then pushes up from their kick off and takes the tag from them before the player has had chance to move. Again Eli joins Luke and gets the next tag pushing Dronfield back even more into their own half.

Dronfield came back strongly, pushing through the Mosborough defence and getting another well-earned try. With fire in their bellies, the Mosborough players kicked off, determined to halt Dronfield in their tracks. An excellent pass from Eli allows Luke to steal in for the next try, to restore Mosborough's 3 point advantage. Dronfield then take the kick off and push up but after a brilliant interception from Henry, the ball goes down the line to Connor who scores Mosborough's 7th and what would turn out to be, the final try of the game.

The final scores was Mosborough 7- 2 Dronfield.

The Man of the Match for Mosborough was Connor Mottershaw.
