Mosborough U13's vs Thorne
Date: Sunday 14th October 2018
Today’s game was played in very difficult conditions it was very wet and very cold, the first half was dominated by Thorne they were very strong and they were very well organised but the Mosborough boys never gave up and gave it their all. Thorne scored a couple of tries in the first half, Mosborough came close but didn’t quite manage it.
The second half was a different story our Mosborough boys came out fighting and looked a different team - Deaks got the ball on the halfway line and powered forward and over the try line for the Mosborough boys first try. Shortly after our new boy Matthew ran forward passed to Deaks who then went over for the second try.
Mosborough's scrum had a formidable match not losing a scrum all game. Wozzis tackles today portrayed David and Goliath which epitomises all of the teams effort today. Mosborough's third try was a brilliant team effort Mosborough won the scrum matt passed to Ben who then passed to James who then powered through to score.
At the final whistle the team came off smiling full of confidence the referee said it was a pleasure to ref the game as there hadn’t been one bit of lip from anyone and both sides played the game in a fantastic manner, especially with the conditions being how they was.
