UPDATE

After many years of hard work from numerous people we can now proudly say that MRUFC has been granted planning permission to develop a clubhouse on the old Westfield site, including two floodlit pitches and complimentary social space.

Now that this has been achieved we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members for their support and comments on the planning portal, it really did make a difference.

Now the hard works starts! We will be calling on all available volunteers and trades, professions and sponsors to support us over the next three years to turn this from a dream into a reality.

The planning application for our long awaited and desperately needed clubhouse on the Westfield site has been submitted. (20th May 2021)

The pictures give an impression of what we hope it will look like, assuming approval, and will provide facilities for the whole club and community: Changing rooms (2 x Home/Away), Function room, Kitchen / Bar, Toilets and viewing Balcony. Improvements will be made to the car parking area and floodlights erected for both pitches.

Exciting times indeed and we will need all of your support now and in the coming weeks and months ahead!
