Here you go!!!!! Hope I’ve given everyone a mention some excellent play today by all the boys well “A cold and gloomy Sunday morning.....perfect rugby weather”

Both Mosborough and Stocksbridge boys were warmed up with fire in their bellies ready for a 10.30 kick off a fantastic turn out from Stocksbridge considering the snow they had at their pitch yesterday!

Good kick off plenty of energy from all players a good run from Stocksbridge closing in on Mosborough territory but taken down by a tag team tackle from Rodine and Conor!!! That’s got to have hurt but fair play the Stocksbridge lad took it on the chin got up and carried on. Ball passed out good run by Conor passed out taken fantastically by Callum the game is looking strong for both teams.

Stocksbridge win it back but Addi gets with them closely followed by Matthew showing good support ball is passed to Conor who has Alfie and Sam on his tail for support.

Some fantastic runs and passes down the line by both teams. Joel wins the ball and takes into Stocksbridge half but is wiped out by a great tackle from Stocksbridge. Stocksbridge make a run to the Mosborough try line but Conor puts in a strong tackle (showing off in front of the girls he’d brought along to watch)!!

Scrum down won by Stocksbridge some good passes moving swiftly down the line wins Stocksbridge the first try. A cracking kick gives them a conversion 7/0. Some motivational words from JJ and the boys heads are up and back in line ready for the attack. A massive kick for Mosborough but unfortunately it goes out. Stocksbridge ball an Excellent tackle from Rodine and Robert picks up the ball and passes out Morgan who gets through with a good run passed to Rodine whose close for try but is taken down.

Some good passing and tackles from both teams but Stocksbridge manage to break through winning another try making it 12/0. A fantastic kick by Conor and Reuben flies down to chase closely followed by Joel Stocksbridge get in but are soon smashed down by Mosborough.

We have a Scrum and Jack pops the ball through ready for Mosborough to drive Jack gets it and throws to Joel who makes run but loses the ball and Stocksbridge take hold making a run down the wing but Callum (whose fired up and angry at his Xbox) has other ideas and dives for a fabulous tackle. Sam gets the ball but Stocksbridge grab him however he’s not letting go without a fight both James and Morgan are with him for support but Stocksbridge manage to take it winning another try and a superb kick gets the conversion 19/0.

Great play followed by all the boys Alfie puts in a great tackle. A real Forrest Gump run from Rodine who is supported by Morgan and Josh who are almost flying behind him taking Mosborough well into Stocksbridge area but just not close enough. Stocksbridge fight back with a great run but Rodine and Reuben are coming up from both sides to make a tag team smash WWE worthy that was!

Scrum down and a massive drive by Mos winning the ball and kicking it high in the air and far over to Stocksbridge but there’s an excellent catch by Stocksbridge but the player is taken down. Alfie has the ball but in come Stocksbridge for what looked like a game of pile on 😖. Alfie is back up but the ball is with Stocksbridge however it’s pushed out by Joel.

After half time drinks and a chat from the coaches the boys are back and embers reignited. A good run by Conor and good support from Robert and Josh but Stocksbridge take it back and produce brilliant kick by followed by a good run down the pitch but Rodine is waiting and makes a fantastic pick up and sterling run that no one can keep up with!!!! He places the ball down between the posts for a first Mosborough try. An excellent kick by Joel finishes it off bring the score to 19/7.

The team are buzzing and you can see the determination on all the boys faces some great play follows and the team working together produces another fantastic run by Joel straight through the posts and placed down gracefully the kick just misses the conversion but the score is now 19/12. The boys are back on form and both teams are showing passion for the game a kick towards Stocksbridge number 12 is fantastically caught.

Another scrum is won by Stocksbridge the ball is out but Reuben is there to flick it out of the lads hand however its won back and for a moment Mosborough had switched off allowing another try for Stocksbridge the conversion didn’t quite make it the score is now 24/12. The boys knew what they’d done but the heads were back in it and lights came back on. Stocksbridge gave a big run but missed the try as Mosborough pushed them out.

Mos win it, the ball is out some great play happening today....the ball makes its way down close to Stocksbridge try line but a great tackle knocks the ball from Reuben’s hands. The ball is back in Mosborough possession Callum grabs in and takes it in for a third try just before the end of the game. A wide kick didn’t make the conversion but after a cracking game played with passion from both teams the final score was 24/17 to Stocksbridge.

Well played boys a pleasure to watch and so good to see Joe coming to support his team mates 👍🏼👍🏼 Res Non Verba 🏉🏉
