A great start to a fresh New Years morning Barnsley make the first big run down the line Joel and Rodine go in for the tackle but miss however Reuben is there with a great take down

Mosborough win it back but in comes a Brilliant tackle from Barnsley the ball is thrown with an excellent take from Joseph passed out to Ciaran who legs it off into the Barnsley half to win the try conversion is missed 5/0

Conor has the ball makes a great pass to Joel who has a fantastic run from well inside their own half all the way through to win the try with a great conversion 12/0

Ball back in play Kian makes the catch and has a great drive forward passes to Conor for a bit of showboating kicks it catches it and runs for a try no conversion taking the score to 17/0 

Line out great pass from Jack to Bailey  some great tackles from Joseph getting in low and strong

Barnsley win it back but in comes a tackle from Sam V but Barnsley make it through with a try but an unlucky conversion just misses 17/5

Great play follows Joel gets the ball and runs like the wind for another try and conversion 24/5

In comes Rodine with a massive run for the try Joel was on point with the conversion taking the score to 31/5 

Barnsley have it but not for long as Alfie is there to take him down with a thump 

The ball is kicked around a little (yes this is rugby I know but it was kicked) someone on the side line shouts good thinking kid then we see Conor on his own with the ball he taps it and runs this seems to cause confusion on the pitch as everyone just seems to stand watching as he gets the try but unfortunately no conversion 36/5 

My eyes were momentarily distracted from play as linesman Tony appears to fall over 😲

Half time team talk commences water taken by little Lewis water boy who always does a fantastic job 

Back in play Fins all over the pitch like a gazelle not sure if he had someone on the sidelines to impress 😉 a fantastic pick up by Reuben who gives it a kick but Barnsley make a fantastic catch with a great run through for a very well deserved try and a spot on conversion 36/12 

Some really good passes down the line Barnsley are back and fighting forwards however Jacob is having none of it and dives in for the legs bringing him down and Fin is there for support picking up and running off but Barnsley are on him take it back and make another run for the try with another fab conversion kick taking the score to 36/19

Barnsley are back in the game some great rugby is being played by both teams 

Alfie is there again to smash down Barnsley’s run Fin picks up passes out great pick up by Sam R who makes a lovely run forward

Barnsley are back but slowed down by Conor and finally taken to the ground by Fin however it’s passed out and caught well by Barnsley running down the line but who comes running in ? Morgan great tackle taking him out of play

But Barnsley are not going home without a fight and break away for another try but narrowly missed the conversion 36/24

Again Barnsley run forward but Reuben tackles and will not let go he attaches himself and is being carried by the Barnsley lad until he manages to drag him down 

Mosborough are coming back and the ball is with Rodine who is off.....try but no conversion 41/24

There’s a good run into the Barnsley half Conor is tackled but with that comes frustration and the yellow card is out along with the shouts from the side of “Conor off”

Again a fight back from Barnsley a fantastic run for yet another try and conversion bringing the final score to  41/31

A brilliant game and fantastic start to 2020 🏉RNV also great to see some of the seniors and a few old faces coming to support the Boys !
