For 2022 the committee decided to change things around a bit, partly due to a lack of sufficiently sized venues and partly to allow our young players to end the season as they went through it, enjoying themselves!
The bouncy castles assembled, weather was kind to us and the Fish & Chip van and Ice Cream vans all ready to go!
The afternoon went extremely well, each age group enjoying some time with their friends on the castles before receiving their Mosborough Season medals, badges and certificates in small groups and much shorter times sat down being quiet :)
Some great speeches from the coaches about their teams and what they have achieved, but also for the individual awards presented and how those players earned their awards. Well done everyone!!
Special mention to the young Colts that graduated into the Senior Rugby team. Unfortunately not all could be there from the Colts team, but Sam (team manager) gave a great speech in recognition of Ciaran, Conor and Reuben that have all been with the club for over 12 years now! What a fantastic achievement and great to see that all of the hard work from our coaches and volunteers is showing how much it is helping produce fine young men and future senior players too. The lads enjoyed the applause from the rest of the junior section players as they walked through the tunnel from the presentation room to the pitch.
Finally, another special mention to all of our current Junior teams sponsors, without them the teams would not have enjoyed new playing tops this year and next. You can see all the pics in the Gallery elsewhere on this site. Thanks everyone!!
The end of another year and such a great year after Covid, thanks all and see you again soon for the start of next season.
