The very first Mosborough Rugby Camp was a smash hit!
Run in conjunction with experienced RDJ Sports Development (running the Tony Ho camp at Mount St Mary's since 2015, and camps across Europe), it was enjoyed by over 60 children and ran for 3 days during the last week of July 2021.
It was great to see all of the children learning skills, having fun and being able to relax after such a tough few months.
Additionally, the coaching team led a special training session for the Senior Mosborough players and a Coaching Masterclass for the Mosborough coaches!
At the end of the camp there was an award presented for the 'best' player in each age group, 3 in total, and the overall winner, pictured below, won a subsidised 2 week scholarship to South Africa in July 2022 where they will join other winners from camps across Europe. Wow, what an opportunity!
A fantastic event that showed the true Mosborough ethos and spirit and looking forward to the next one!
