Fantastic start to the game both teams have certainly put in the training over the summer really good attack and defence work however the ball is now in Mosborough possession and Reuben puts it in to touch, back in play Barnsley win it but Joel puts in a cracking tackle and Princess gets it doing his sneaky move will he pass it or not ........ no !!! puts in a good run closely followed by Joel passed out another great run into the Barnsley territory passes back to Conor then Rodine who gets the first try of the day but unfortunately no conversion 0/5

Some brilliant tackles from Barnsley then a good tackle from Ciaran and  Addi but  Barnsley fight on and win the try with a lovely conversion kick 7/5

More play and scrum balls out great pass from Jack to Joel but he’s taken out by a tackle from Barnsley Mosborough win it back though for a fantastic try from Ciaran. Princess Conor takes the conversion kick taking it to 7/12

Back in the game and there’s a high tackle on James ........ not sure how anyone can reach that high but they did 😲

Another scrum the ball is out to Alfie fantastic play lad no one is stopping him drive forward but the ball is ripped however Joe is in with a great tackle  brilliant defence. James has it great catch passed to Joel but its dropped not to worry Jack is there with a lovely pick up great pass to Bailey then James then Conor but Barnsley catch him

Another fantastic pick up from James Princess Conor is back on his feet James passes him the ball for another try but no conversion 7/17

More unbelievable play from these two teams continues the ball is kicked and here is James again with a lovely catch but he’s taken down by Barnsley who are not backing off a great pick up from Kian and perfect support from Sam R the ball is with Joel who runs like Forest for a try  no conversion 7/22

Half time - team talk looks interesting and Sam V is being waterboy having being thoroughly trained and talked through what to do by Edna 🙍🏼‍♀

The whistle blows and the game continues and it’s not long before Rodine gets another try but I think the wind took the ball away from the conversion ...... I’m sticking to that theory 7/27 🌪💨

A fantastic run from Barnsley but a Brilliant tackle by Sam V but Barnsley have it again and make another brilliant run Ciaran makes a superb tackle but Barnsley fight through Mosborough defence and they earned that try with a conversion......the wind was down the other end 😂 14/27

A great kick by Barnsley but Mosborough take it back down into their half Calum gets it and makes the try no conversion 14/32 great pick up and drive forward by Joseph to set up a great run by Joel who gets another try straight in the middle of the posts a conversion drop kick by the Princess 14/39

Calum makes a good pick up but is tackled Barnsley have it but not for long as Reuben comes in for the tackle and takes it for the try 14/44

Ball is kicked out for a good pick up by Robert  great support from the rest of the boys passed out to Joel for a try again in the middle of the posts and conversion 14/51

Another good run by Mosborough great passes down the line Joel then Rodine then Rob but Barnsley make the tackle it was so close but Barnsley were not giving up!!!

Great game, great atmosphere and in words from Barnsley “It was good to see you and your amazing players and supporters. Great team, great ethos and great culture!  We saw some good rugby too!  “

Very well deserved MOM James 🏆🥇 RNV 🏉
